Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai thanked the Dutch government, the Amsterdam City Council, as well as the city’s mayor, for supporting the organization of Vietnam Days in the Netherlands scheduled from Tuesday to Friday this week.

Later the same day, a ceremony took place at Lucent Danstheatre in the Hague to kick off Vietnam Days in the Netherlands and to mark the 69th anniversary of Vietnam’s Independence Day. Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai stressed the importance of the Vietnam-Netherlands relationship, especially after the two countries established a strategic partnership in the areas of climate change, weather management, agriculture, and food security. He said this event will enhance mutual understanding between the two countries, boosting exchanges and cooperation between their ministries, localities, businesses, and people.
